Monthly Shirt #08: Speech Bubble

First off we are changing this thing up a bit. We have done a new shirt every 7 days for the last 7 weeks. It has been rewarding and also a learning experience. One of the big things I learned is that making a new design and screen-printing it every week is too fast of a turnaround to properly allow the design to sell. So we have decided to slow it down from this point and do monthly shirts, which isn’t to say we wont release more than one in a month, but we will leave them up longer. Allowing more time to decide on orders and more time for us utilize the the screens we are burning.

This week’s design is up in the air, its a guy saying something. “What?” you ask? Well whatever you want. Use a sharpie and write in something. Or if you prefer we can write in a message for you.  Or leave it blank, we wont care or judge you either way.

It’s available here for one month.

Thanks,

Ashley & Bryan

Weekly Shirt #6 “Pugzle”

You may remember this design, but I wanted to return to it for a shirt because of a few reasons. 1) It looks awesome as a 1 color print. 2) People say we are cat-centric with our shirts so far. 3) Its a pug, and pugs are hilarious.

Available Here for 1 week (til Sunday). Hand screened by Ashley and I, plus is comes with an original doodle by yours truly.

Introducing the first of the Sum of the Parts weekly shirt releases.

“Tie Die” available until end of day Sunday Jan 8th. Then its gone! Each shirt will be hand screened by Ashley Culver and myself, and will include a hand sketched/signed doodle with each order.

In the past I used Mysoti for printing, but while the cost was slightly lower. The turnaround time was nearly a month or longer and the colors never came out right. So now we are trying this DIY model out. I believe the quality will be better, faster, and more unique.
